Happy new year! It’s been a while since the last cat cover and it was high time to remedy that… And of course with a sad anniversary to mark, Bowie it had to be… 

What I love about doing the cat covers is that you have to plunge deep into the artwork to understand exactly what’s going on… i realised that however familiar I felt with this cover, i hadn’t grasped that much about how it is composed – the photo and shadow in the background, the ripped coloured drawn portrait on top, the details of the pierrot costume. A real treat!
