What do Amy Winehouse, Brian Jones, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison and Robert Johnson have in common, aside from their incredible talent?

They all died at age 27 – feeding the myth that the best die young, and a special curse on that particular age.

Of course the list is MUCH longer – and there could easily be a 28 or 30 dead club (food for thought!) as many have fallen too early, if a little later or earlier than the famed 27.

While I can’t vouch they are all angels – I liked going with the legend that he sold his soul to the devil…
