Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds paper dolls

band paperdolls, Bands, Music, Paper dolls

I made these paper dolls quite a while ago, but always wanted to work up a suitable background for them.

Today I went on the hunt for lyrics from some of my favourite songs by the man – as I’m off this weekend to see him in Glasgow (unbelievably thrilled). And this is what I have used to create my background – it’s by no means an exhaustive list, but it spans across the band’s career, starting at From her to eternity to Push the sky away. Have a go at deciphering where they’re from if you’re feeling playful! Some of them are quite easy, some of them a little more challenging.

So here it comes, my beautiful world!

Karuski is the nom de pencil for me, Katherine Mengardon - I am a fan of all things 1960s, CAKES, obscure indie pop bands, children illustrations, bad puns and cats. Any spare time goes towards baking mad cakes, drawing families and catified musicians.
