I got a liiiiiiittle bit obsessed with collecting leaves last autumn… The thing is, they’re really pretty when you start paying attention, a bit like snowflakes, except you can’t see snowflakes with the naked eye and they’re not in colour, right? Bo-ring!

Anyway, it all started with making pattern on leaves with ink, then collages with said leaves, then the ever genial Galia suggested leaf prints, in which we started spotting animals within…

I’m going to post a whole lot of them, and I still intend to make these more ‘commercial’, with a nice background, but here’s my favourite for a start.

It can get a little boring in the forest. This miniature fox has style aplenty to go with his adventurous spirit. He is known to steal nuts in spot that squirrels favour – jury is still out if that’s just out of sheer altruism to feed his fellow foxes, or if there are bloodier motives at bay here…
